A little of topic but in my opinion Argentina "winning" the world cup back in 1978 was not valid due to the massive human rights violations comitted during the dictatorship.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6575603049321348898.post-49054320500974563382008-09-08T16:51:00.000-04:002008-09-08T16:51:00.000-04:00This comment has been removed by the author.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6575603049321348898.post-26872645711590868992008-09-08T16:32:00.000-04:002008-09-08T16:32:00.000-04:00Oooh fancy tickets eh! I'm not a soccer fan either but there's something about the World Cup that gets everyone enthused and the atmosphere at the actual games is fantastic. I even stayed up uhntil 3am last time to watch the Aussies get hammered by the Italians! Aussies aren't terribly good at singing or chanting but your lot make it a party! First thing Clare did in Brasil was go to a football match - brilliant!Bainohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14156193098088048637noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6575603049321348898.post-50323696153161231232008-09-08T12:41:00.000-04:002008-09-08T12:41:00.000-04:00I'm jealous. All I get is the seriously whimpy Ajax...I'm jealous.<BR/><BR/>All I get is the seriously whimpy Ajax-Feyenoord stuff here.<BR/><BR/>Can't wait to get back to turners cross, if there's still a club to watch...Martinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11044403947730363259noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6575603049321348898.post-58583032199996950312008-09-08T11:21:00.000-04:002008-09-08T11:21:00.000-04:00Meh, the whole mafia thing would get up my nose un...Meh, the whole mafia thing would get up my nose unless I was benefiting from it. Not a footy fan TBH, but if there are cheerleaders I'll be there with my "American Beauty" T-shirt on. Sounds like a good match though.Thriftcriminalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05067935732217300979noreply@blogger.com
