I've added a good YouTube video with a news report to supplement the first post below which demonstrates the seriousness of the situation. Visibility on the roads is now less than 3 metres. Several more fatalities reported. Breathing is noticeably difficult.
Hey Paddy!
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting this video. It's really crazy here. I love watching the posturing...the government's words about how the farmers have no respect for human life and are only interested in profits. Very heated rhetoric here in Argentina.
How long have you been here in BsAs?
Smoky Buenos Aires Jonathan
Hi Smokey B.A. Jonathan,
ReplyDeleteI'm here ten months (on a sabbatical year) - Love it here!
What brings you here and how long have you been here?
I'm thinking you guys need Mary Harney, and seeing as we're finished with her , you can have her!
ReplyDeleteThanks Roy, but i wouldn't wish Mary Harney on my worst enemy - pls don't become my worst enemy - p.s. I love your new site! - Kudos for a job well done!
ReplyDeleteHey Quickroute...
ReplyDeleteWe love it here as well, though could definitely do without the smoke. We've bene here four weeks and we will be here another two. We're testing out the location independent lifestyle... to see if we can do it! (More about that at Buenos Aires: How Is This Possible? So are you a professor or some other kind of job which gives you sabbatical leave? Pretty cool stuff! What's the thing you like best about BsAs so far?
Jonanthan (strive4impact): I quit my job in a bank and have no job to go back to! - makes it more of an adventure!
ReplyDeleteBest thing about Buenos Aires is the nightlife and food / wine. I'm a night bird so suits me down to a tee!
