Hike Diamond Head Crater, Oahu, Hawaii

To get there you can walk from Waikiki (40 mins) or get the public bus (15 mins) or drive to the base (10 mins).

Once you reach the base it's a fairly easy 2km hike to the top. The view is quite exceptional

    I've been to Hawaii twice now, and still have not managed to make it to the top of Diamond Head. Maybe a future third trip is in order to get to the peak!

    @ InACents: It's a long way to go for a hike but there is something special about Hawaii ;-)
