No, this is not another rant like this one. This is simply a strange sight I saw today as I was out for a stroll near my old office. There is something weird ala science fiction-esque about it to me, but then I am a bit of a weird mad scientist me-self.

I was browsing some old photos and found these pics which were taken when I worked in midtown Manhattan in 2004.  I brought my missus to check it out.  Not a bad view from my office back then.  Now I have a windowless cube between the pantry and toilet in New Jersey.  Where did it all go wrong?
