In Chinese the sign specified canines but not in English. I guess they expect better (or worse) of us English speakers.

Strictly speaking excreting is pissing or sweating (or possibly CO2 as mentioned above). Pooing is egesting.
@ Nick: I know - how does one not sweat in this hot & humid climate? Drink lots of fluids - but then how does one not pee? Houston - we have a problem!
